Unlocking the value of waste wool

Soil forms at a rate of 1 cm every 500 years and it is currently being depleted faster than ever. Poor quality soil is accountable for the limited farming land and low crop yields in Australia and other countries. A growing world population and an increased demand for food adds pressure on farms to make the most of their land to increase production. At Veratin, we have developed a solution that can enrich the organic content of soils. We use novel technology for the extraction of amino acids from waste wool and have developed Verigrow® as the world’s first fertiliser and soil improver incorporating waste wool.
